Army AFT Score Chart & Standards (2026)
Every Army AFT standard in one score chart. Filter the current scoring scales by age, sex, and event to see the points each deadlift, plank, or run earns.
Reading the Army AFT standards
Each column of the Army AFT score chart is one age group and sex scale. Pick your group and an event to see the AFT standards for every published point value, including the 60-point event minimum and the 100-point maximum. A score gap is preserved rather than filled by a formula, so a performance earns the highest threshold it meets.
The general standard requires 300 total points and 60 per event; the AFT combat standards raise the total to 350 on the male scale. To score your own results, use the Army AFT calculator, or review the source and verification method.

Questions about this tool
What are the Army AFT standards to pass?
Under the general standard, a Soldier passes the Army Fitness Test with at least 60 points in each of the five events and 300 total points. Soldiers in the published combat specialties need 350 total on the male age-normed scale, still with 60 per event. The score chart above shows the performance each point value requires.
How do I choose the correct AFT chart column?
Select the age at the time of the assessment and the applicable sex scale. For the combat standard, choose the male age-normed scale regardless of sex. Then select an event to see every published threshold. The current filter changes the displayed table without generating separate age-specific URLs.
Can I print an age-specific Army reference table?
Yes. Choose the age, sex scale, and event before using Print table. The displayed reference is for training and includes a source caption. Your grader uses the governing Army instructions and authorized scorecard for an official record. Check the source date when comparing a previously printed chart.
Does this chart include the former power throw?
The current Army Fitness Test contains five events and does not include the standing power throw. Historical six-event scoring is available in the archived ACFT comparison tool. The two tests have different scoring scales, so removing the old throw score alone does not produce a current AFT result.
